Roman Experience Trip

Year 4 visited Herd Farm for ‘The Romans are Coming’ morning.  On the day, they learnt about what life was like in Brigantium Britain when the Romans came.  The children saw how a Roman Centurion would dress and what they would carry in their bags. We lit a fire using flint and discussed artefacts from the time in history.
