Week beginning 22nd January 2024. This years diversity week had a focus on difference and disability. With a focus on a different difference each day the children looked at life through the lens of hearing and visual impairment, physical disability and neurodiversity. We welcomed visitors such as St John’s School for the Deaf, Guide Dogs, British sign language users and a Wheelchair Rugby Captain
26.1.24 Children took part in Den Building with Chris where they learnt how to work as a team to build a large structure with sticks, zip ties, tubes and covers.
9.2.24: The children designed well-being activities that they shared with the class. The children had really thought about how to we can use various techniques to help our mental health. It also supports our school vision of having an open heart.
