The results in the statutory tests this year have been exemplary once again.

In KS2 and KS1 the school is way above the national averages, both for children achieving the expected standard and greater depth.

Our results in EYFS and the phonics screening test are also amazing: way above national averages.

Key Stage 2 Attainment 2023

Working at the expected standard

• 94% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading (national average 73%).
• 87% of pupils achieved the expected standard in writing (national average 72%).
• 97% of pupils achieved the expected standard in maths (national average 73%).
• 97% of pupils achieved the expected standard in GPS (national average 72%). 
• 84% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined (national average 59%).

Working at greater depth

• 48% of pupils achieved the greater depth standard in reading (national average 29%).
• 32% of pupils achieved the greater depth standard in writing (national average 13%).
• 36% of pupils achieved the greater depth standard in maths (national average 24%).
• 48% of pupils achieved the greater depth standard in GPS (national average 30%).
• 19% of pupils achieved the greater depth standard in reading, writing and maths (national average 9%).

• The average scaled score in reading was 108 (national average 105).
• The average scaled score in maths was 107 (national average 104).
• The average scaled score in GPS was 108 (national average 105).
