Our train journey to Valley Gardens

We have been exploring different modes of transport during our topic work this half term, so we embarked upon our own train adventure today! We all met at Leeds train station and explored, discovering where we can get information from, who can help us and what we have to do once we are at the train station. We also compared and contrasted Leeds city centre to Meanwood. Once we arrived in Harrogate, we walked to Valley Gardens and the children had the most wonderful time playing and exploring in the huge playground. Due to Covid, this has been Reception class's first trip out of school. We could not be prouder of how all of the children behaved throughout the trip; they were such a credit to us as a school. Take a look at some of our photos.
