Different and Unique - tastes
During the w/b 28th September, Reception Class have been learning about how they are all different and unique. We learnt that we are different in many ways; hair colour, eye colour, skin colour, families, brothers and sisters and the languages we speak. We celebrated being different to one another and learnt that because of this we are all unique. The children then explored further their likes and dislikes of different fruits. They were brave when tasting new fruits that they hadn't tried before and we described the taste using words such as sweet, juicy and bitter. When a small group had discussed what their favourite fruit was, we worked out what the group's favourite fruit was as well as their least favourite fruit to eat. The children then drew their recordings.
