Author Week - Treasure Hunt in Meanwood Park
After reading Charlie Cook's Favourite Book, Reception class were shocked to discover the King's jewels had been taken from the maths area - where could they be? After lunch there was more mystery when we discovered we'd been visited by the Pirate Chief from the book who had left us some rhyming clues to find the treasure. Reception did a brilliant job of solving the clues and following them through the park, over the bridge, past the birdhouse, left at the fork and eventually found the treasure chest up a tree.
