Testing Soluble and Insoluble Materials

We had lots of fun learning about soluble and insoluble materials in Science. In pairs, the children tested to see which materials were soluble and insoluble using cups of water. We mixed sand, salt, sugar and iron fillings into water. The children especially enjoyed separating the iron fillings from the water by using magnets.
