In Summer 1 we will be learning about....

In Writing we will be creating a character description for the much loved book character Marge from 'Marge in Charge' by Isla Fisher.  

In Maths, we will be focusing on fractions and time

In RE, we will be learning about sacred spaces.

In History, we will learning about the fierce pirate queen, Grace O'Malley.

In PSHE, we will be learning about keeping safe indoors and outdoors.

In PE, we will be developing our jumping skills and applying our skills to games.

In Computing, we will be making music.

In Music, we will be exploring improvisation. 

In Art, we will be making pirate flags using natural dyes.

In French, we will be learning vocabulary used to describe our body. 

Our Oracy focus is 'My favourite place'. Please see an e-mail sent to parents for further information regarding this, including the week your child can bring in a showing.

The Owl and the Pussy-Cat

The Owl and the Pussy-Cat went to sea

In a beautiful pea-green boat,

They took some honey, and plenty of money,

Wrapped up in a five pound-note.

The Owl looked up to the stars above,

And sang to a small guitar,

'O lovely Pussy! O Pussy, my love,

What a beautiful Pussy you are,
