Pirate Adventures!
To celebrate our wonderful learning about Pirates; both historical and fictional this term, we enjoyed a pirate themed day.
First we got into character by learning a sea shanty in music, and then we made our own tricorns (hats). We then designed and built our own (model) galleons to set sail across the High Seas ( - aka Meanwood Beck).
We hope the photos convey the sheer excitement and joy that the children experienced watching their galleons tumble over the waterfall.
