Murton Park Roman Trip

The children visited Murton Park today and lived life as a Roman soldier on a Roman fort. They had a fantastic day and completed a range of activities; they made oil lamps, wrote letters home, had sword and spear training and learnt how to get into a Testudo formation. It was a really enjoyable day and despite the cold, the children really embraced the trip - a fantastic opportunity that really supported their classroom learning.
