Holy Week in church

Year 1 and 2 visited Holy Trinity to learn more about Holy Week.  Year 2 recapped their knowledge of signs and symbols in Holy Week from Year 1 and then looked at how Christians show their beliefs about Jesus as saviour in Church worship.  Examples included celebrating with palm leaves, depictions in stained glass windows, sharing the Last Supper with each other, songs, prayers and Easter Sunday celebrations.
