Hesketh Farm Trip
On Thursday Reception class visited Hesketh Farm as part of their topic work this half term. On arrival we split into two groups and over the course of the day had the opportunity to: mix milk for calves and lambs, bottle feed the animals, go on a tractor ride around the farm, collect fresh eggs, cuddle Guinea pigs and explore the fantastic play areas. They were so well behaved and it was lovely to apply our learning in the classroom to a working farm.
