Health and Well-being Day

Today we spent the day thinking about our mental health and well being. We had the chance to try lots of new activities that would help with our mindfulness and being in the moment. We had a lovely time making Pom poms with Stitch-up, we then had a session with Zoe Haydn-Jones who shared some breathing and yoga techniques that we can use at any time to calm our minds. In Meanwood park we met the park rangers and helped make a dead hedge which is great for the local wildlife. Finally, we had a special lesson with the Mindmate team who spoke to us about friendships and how we can be good friends.
