Exploring woodland habitats and mini-beast hunting

As part of our Meanwood Park in Autumn topic, the children have been learning about habitats, in particular woodland habitats. The children have learned that a good habitat needs to provide food, shelter and water. We explored seasonal changes we observed in the park, habitats and also went on a mini-beast hunt, discussing why they can be found under rocks. Take a look at some of our first hand learning in action.
