Egyptian Day
Wow! We had a fantastic day in Year 3 celebrating all that we had learnt this term about the Ancient Egyptians. We began the day discussing our costumes and Egyptian fashion before tackling some pyramid maths problems. After break we used our costumes to get further into character and help us write more of our Egyptian mystery story. The afternoon was full of hieroglyphic printing, jewellery making, death mask designing and 3D pyramid constructing. The day was topped off with some flat bread and fruit. I would like to thank the children for such fantastic enthusiasm and Mr Kane for taking these wonderful photographs. Our final thanks go to the parents and the children for some absolutely brilliant costumes!
