Diversity Day
What a celebration of different cultures we had in Reception class today. We are fortunate enough to have a very culturally diverse cohort in Reception, with parents coming from a wide range of different countries. Several of our parents very kindly came in this morning to share some information about their home country with the class and some cultural traditions. The children loved learning about bee keeping in Lithuania, traditional dances and celebrations in Brazil, first day of school traditions in Germany, Chinese New Year as well as partaking in Flamenco dancing lessons.
