Cooking in the curriculum: making our own unique spotty pizzas!
During our class shared read of "My mum and dad make me laugh" by Nick Sharratt, we found out that one of the things that made mum unique in this story was her love of spots and all things spotty. We made our own pizzas and discovered that each one was unique and reflected some of our likes and dislikes. We developed our cooking skills by spreading on the tomato sauce base and tore up the mozarella into small pieces. Our pizzas tasted delicious!
