Class Debate - Should School Uniform Be Banned?
To help us with our balanced argument we held a class debate. I asked the children if school uniform should be banned. Some children were for, some against and I assigned a group of children the roles of parents. Once each group had written and given their opening statements, we started the debate. had a passionate debate. Year 5 were amazing - arguing both passionately and politely. Children made lots of valid, constructive, and well though arguments, which managed to persuade some people to change their minds. Well done Year 5!
