In Music, children will learn about their musical heartbeat and that every song has a beat (pulse. Children will use their bodies to march, clap and sway in time with the music.
In Computing, we will be learning about technology all around us.

Knowledge Organisers should be used to support your child throughout the topic being covered. They provide end points which is the knowledge that children will gain from this unit of work. They also show the learning that has taken place before and how this will link to future learning. Children will use these both in school and at home to supplement their learning, allowing us to work collaboratively together.
Knowledge Organisers are designed to help provide additional support and direction for families to support learning at home. They can be used as a point of reference for year group knowledge and expectations within the given topic area.
We went on a trip to Meanwood Valley Urban Farm to support our learning all about Animals, in our Science topic. We found lots of animals on our farm tour including cows, pigs, sheep and alpacas. We learnt about the different animal groups and their characteristics.
We went on a fieldwork walk to observe our local area. We found Green Rd, the park, the playground, the Beck and the cafe and used our findings to help us draw our own map back in the classroom.
