Author Week. C.S. Lewis
Wow! What a fantastic week we have had in Year 3 learning all about C.S. Lewis. We delved into the Chronicles of Narnia focusing on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. We built and decorated our own magical wardrobes and painted winter scenes to go inside. Later in the week the class wrote magnificent setting descriptions (it even started snowing while we were writing!), we acted out stepping inside the wardrobe to imagine how it must have felt. We used this to help write a letter back home from Narnia which explained what they had seen and who they had met . We ended the week by making Turkish Delight (which we will eat next week!) The children's costumes were superb! - well done to all!
