Author Week
Children in Year 4 went on a Michael Morpurgo book hunt to find out more about the author. Children then created a wordle based on adjectives they used to describe him and his writing style.
On author day, Children in Year 4 were put into small groups and told they were stranded on a desert island like Michael in Kensuke’s Kingdom. In these groups, they acted out their own scenario of how they ended up on a desert island. They drew a own map of their island thinking about what they would need to survive. They also create a survival kit of all the things they would need to stay alive!!
