Ripon Museum

On the 12th June, year 6 visited to Ripon Museum as part of their topic on crime and punishment.  They learned about the types of punishment administered in Victorian times, visited the cells where prisoners were held and learned about the crimes committed. They then took part in a trial in the old courthouse during which the jury decided whether the defendant was guilty and the punishment they would receive.  Here are some pictures of our day.
