National Fitness Day

This Year's National Fitness Day was on Wednesday 27th September and the main aim was to increase activity levels for any child who has been less active during the summer holidays.  This was the first project for our Sports Leaders who planned a ten minute activity for every class in school.  At 10.00am all classes took part in  #10TEN10 challenges in their classroom where children followed the online videos provided by i-moves and included a muscle mash up samba routine or a healthy food choices routine. Sports leaders led an extra session and we finished the day with a mindfulness activity that the children really enjoyed.
