Dear Parents and Carers,
We are so sorry not to be able to have our usual November Open Day to welcome prospective Reception Class children to our school community. But as you will appreciate, the safety of those already in school is paramount to everything we do and we have had nobody but teaching Staff and children in the building since March, 2019, in order to minimise risk of infection. However, should the situation improve after Christmas, we will invite parents and carers into school to have a look round. These appointments will be via a booking system to limit numbers of adults in the building
We do appreciate that this is a huge decision for parents and carers and that you need to make it with as much information as you can possibly get from each school you're applying to. Below, we have put together some videos, policies and a powerpoint for you to look at and get some idea of who we are and how we operate. I'm sure you will have heard all about that anyway! The only thing missing is a look at the rooms. To be honest, the people in them are more important to us than the bricks and mortar...
Whilst current practices prevent us from having you in school to talk to and show round, we realise that some parents and carers of children with additional needs may need to meet us face to face. We are looking at ways for you to meet the Staff inside the building and to look at the classroom. Please email Mrs Eagles or call school if you need to make an appointment to come to school or ring if there is anything you need clarification with (tel 0113 275 5883)
