The school council responded to the pupil voice aired during class council time in November about there being too many balls on the top playground at lunchtime, which was making some pupils feel unsafe and it was restricting the play space of those not wanting to play ball games. The school council have now created a space on the top playground and a football rota, whereby all classes using the top playground have a specific day that they can play football and ball sports. The school council have given the rota to all class teachers to display in their classrooms and to the lunchtime supervisors and have explained the new rule is that children are only allowed balls on their designated day in the designated ball sports area.
