Reception Class have been sharing lots of Julia Donaldson stories as part of our school author week. One of our favourites has been Stick Man. The children went on a trail through Meanwood Park, finding clues to help us to retell the story ourselves. The children built nests, had stick throwing competitions, built towers, did tree bark rubbings, had a pooh stick race and played blindfolded team games, using our senses of smell and touch .
