Leeds Schools Girls League Final Playoffs (Runners-up)
The girls team put up a series of brilliant performances in awful weather conditions to finish runners up in the Leeds Schools League Final Playoffs. The team played a round robin series of games against  Holy Family and Immaculate Heart. The girls managed a win, a draw and a couple of losses. This meant they finished as runners up and received a medal for their efforts. 


Leeds Schools U'9 League Final Playoffs (Runners-up)
The U'9 team put up a series of brave performances to finish runners up in Leeds Schools League Final Playoffs. Unfortunately they we beaten in the final game by Rothwell St Mary's, who scored the winning goal in the final 10 seconds of the game. On the way to the runners up spot the team beat St Theresa's and Newlaithes. It was an excellent performance and one the team can be proud of.      

West Yorkshire School Games 2015 - Cross Country Final winners

Our Year 4 cross country team competed in the West Yorkshire School Games final at Leeds Beckett University along side children from across the five districts in West Yorkshire - Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield and our Y4 girls team WON! This is such a fantastic acheivement especially when there were approximately 1200 runners.  A special mention must go to Gemima Beckley, Philippa Bromley and Florence Pell who finished third, sixth and tenth respectively. 
Well done to all of our children who took part, we were ridiculously proud of every single one of you for getting us to this stage and representing the school brilliantly. 

Leeds North East cross Country Festival 2014

Congratulations to the Y3/4 boys and girls teams that both won their cross country event at the family of schools competition on Monday 24th November.  Well done to all the children that took part at this event, there were over four hundred children taking part in the races.  It's nice to see all of the work that we've done on Monday lunchtimes and at Boot Camp paying off!  Thank you to all parents who gave lifts and supported us from the side lines.

we are now through to the West Yorkshire School Games final which is taking place on Wednesday 25th March.  Further details will follow.

YST Quality Mark

In July 2014 we were very pleased to receive silver award in the Youth Sports Trust Quality Mark.  There were only a small number of schools in Leeds who achieved this award. It recognises the importance we place on PE as a subject within our school and the work we have done during 2013-2014 to improve our provision and outcomes in PE and school sport.

School Games Kitemark Award

This is a government led awards scheme which rewards schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.  We were delighted to  achieve silver in the School Games Kitemark Award reflecting the wide range of competitive opportunities we provide alongside promoting positive sporting values and skill development throughout school.
