On Monday 25th March, all of Year 4 began their DT unit on 'Lighting it up'. Throughout the week the children learnt about a variety of different light sources in particular, diva lamps. The children learnt about what diva lamps are, what they are used for, who uses them and why they are so important to people who live in India. The children then used clay to create their own diva lamps, and at the end of the week the children painted these with Rangoli patterns. The children then evaluated their products and suggested what they would do differently next time. The children had lots of fun throughout the week as the pictures show!
