Dinosaur Excavation

Reception children are still in disbelief at finding the remains of a dinosaur skeleton in Meanwood Park.  It came as a huge shock when Mrs Ward met a dog walker in the park and came rushing into the classroom to get our thirty happy (and very excited) helpers. Our keen paleontologists were eager to assist in an excavation. With brushes at the ready, the children worked carefully to extract the remains from the ground.  We managed to re-locate our discovery in the classroom where the children have a lot of questions they are keen to find the answers to. We rang Leeds Museum once back in the classroom and spoke to Bob who is meeting Mrs Parker and bringing a dinosaur skeleton that was discovered in the park a month ago. Will it be our missing body?
